Task, comment and chat events to a Slack channel
About
Register a Slack Incoming Webhook URL and project events such as task created/moved/completed, comments and chat mentions arrive in your channel as Slack cards. Pick the events per app and install separately for each channel.
How to connect
Click ‘Install to project’, pick a project, then paste the URL you get by following the steps below. That's it.
At api.slack.com/apps choose Create New App → From scratch and pick your workspace. (The legacy "Incoming WebHooks" custom integration can no longer be created.)
In the app settings turn on Incoming Webhooks (Activate), click "Add New Webhook to Workspace", pick the channel that should receive notifications and allow it.
Copy the URL (hooks.slack.com/services/…) from "Webhook URLs for Your Workspace" and paste it here. Each channel has its own URL, so install once per channel.
- Tabple posts text + attachments cards. App webhooks can't override the sender name or icon, so messages appear under your Slack app's name.
- Anyone with the URL can post to that channel. If it leaks, delete the webhook in Slack and install again.
- Right after installing, use "Send a test message" to confirm a card shows up in the channel.
