About
Register the webhook URL and secret of a bot server you run, and call it from chat with @botname. Tabple only relays HMAC-signed messages to your bot server and posts its replies back to chat — it never issues LLM access, tool permissions or API tokens.
How to connect
Click ‘Install to project’, pick a project, then paste the URL you get by following the steps below. That's it.
Create an HTTPS endpoint on your bot server that accepts a JSON POST. Reply within 8 seconds with 200 + , or return 202 first and PUT to callback_url later.
Generate a secret in the install form and store the same value on your bot server. Use X-Tabple-Signature (HMAC-SHA256) and X-Tabple-Bot-ID on each request to reject forgeries.
Once installed, the bot joins the project channels. Mention @bot-name in chat and the bot server's reply is posted to that channel.
- Tabple does not give bots an LLM, tool permissions or API tokens. Your bot server answers with its own logic; Tabple is only the message channel.
- Redirects (3xx) are not followed — register the final URL. A bot mentioning another bot is ignored.
