Daily notes — one page per day
One page a day, your own work log. Version history lets you edit without worry.
Getting started
Open today's note
Click Daily in the sidebar to enter the /daily/ route, which jumps straight to today's note in your local time.
Past and future dates
Move to another date with the calendar icon or the ← → buttons at the top. Typing the URL (/daily/2026-04-19) works too.
Writing
Write freely in the same rich editor as the Wiki. Slash commands, checkboxes, @mentions, and pasted images all work.
Version history & recovery
Daily notes get automatic snapshots just like Wiki pages. Use the Version history button at the top to view or restore an earlier point, so anything you deleted by mistake comes back safely.
Note search — find another date by a keyword in the body
Search inside the page
Click the 🔍 button at the top right of the daily note screen. Type two or more characters and results appear after a 200ms debounce.
Click a result
Each result is a card with the date and a 120-character snippet of the body. Click it to open that day's daily note.
Search globally too
Open global search anywhere with ⌘K (or Ctrl+K) and daily notes get their own results section, alongside tasks, wiki pages, and memos.
The magnifier icon at the top of a daily note searches the body of every daily note you have written. Type a meeting keyword, a person's name, or a decision and the matching dates surface with a preview; click one to jump straight to that date.
