Create a public link for a document
Turn an internal document into a public link, with later edits carried over automatically.

Publishing

Publish, at the top right of the page
Click Publish in the menu at the top right of a wiki page, then set a slug (4–32 characters) to publish it.
CAUTIONPublishing works on the Starter, Pro, and Lifetime paid plans — Free accounts are blocked.

The public URL
A published page opens at /p/<slug> without signing in. It is server-rendered, so search engine and social previews work immediately.

Re-publishing and edits
Edits to the body reach the public page automatically. Change the slug and the page is published at the new one, while the previous slug expires immediately.
Security & blocking
- Back to private — Unpublish in the same menu makes it private again immediately
- Excessive access blocked — abnormally heavy request volume is throttled automatically
- Address format checked — only characters allowed in a public link address are accepted
- Cache — edit the document and the public page switches to the new content automatically
Previews and search
A public page shows its title and summary automatically, so a shared link previews cleanly. Contact support if you need the page indexed by search engines.
