Keep copied text, today's tasks, your next meeting and daily routines at hand without leaving the page.
Install
Install in Chrome
Press the Chrome Web Store button on the extensions page or the download page and choose 'Add to Chrome'. Click the extension icon in the toolbar to open the side panel.
Install in Whale
Press the Whale Store button to install. Click the new icon in the sidebar to open the app.
Each app installs separately. Install only the ones you need.
Use without signing in, or connect your account
Use on this device
The first time you open an app, choose 'Use on this device' or 'Connect a Tabple account'. With 'Use on this device', records stay in this browser without signing in. Each app has a storage limit: 10 recent clips in Clip, 20 tasks in Tasks, 10 events in Calendar, and 3 routines and 7 journal entries in Routine.
Connect a Tabple account
If you are signed in to tabple.com in the same browser, the app connects without another sign-in. Once connected, you use your account's tasks, events, routines and memos, and limits follow your plan.
Disconnect and move records
Disconnect in each app's settings. Signing in does not upload this device's records. For tasks, events and routines, only the items you choose in the app settings are copied to your account.
What each app does
Tabple Clip
After you turn on copy history, Clip collects text you copy on the web together with its source. Click a record to copy it again, and once you are signed in, save it to your Tabple memos. The prompts tab keeps the prompts you use often, ready to copy in one step.
Tabple Tasks
See tasks by today, overdue and all, and check them off. Use the current tab to create a task from the page title and link.
Tabple Calendar
Shows today's and tomorrow's events and the time left until your next meeting. Choose a reminder 5, 10 or 15 minutes ahead and set quiet hours.
Tabple Routine
Check off daily routines and close the day with a 30-second journal. An unfinished entry stays on this device as a draft for 7 days.
Clip shortcuts
Open Clip
Alt+Shift+COpens Clip in the side panel in Chrome and in the sidebar in Whale.
Copy a saved phrase
Alt+Shift+1Copy the phrases saved under shortcuts and saved phrases in the app settings with Alt+Shift+1, 2 or 3. You get 1 before signing in and 3 after.
If a shortcut clashes with another one, open the shortcut settings from your browser's extensions menu and change it.
Data and permissions
- Copy history starts off. Password fields and text shaped like card or resident registration numbers are filtered out, though not every piece of sensitive information can be detected. Nothing is recorded in incognito windows or on internal browser pages.
- Your Tabple sign-in is not read until you choose to connect.
- The extensions send nothing to any server other than tabple.com.
- Records on this device can be deleted or exported to a JSON file in the app settings. Removing the extension removes them too.
